Not the most important definition of "Picket line"
[edit]This topic is not the most important definition of "Picket line" -- which has a very important meaning (or complex of meanings) in military parlance (not to mention the meaning in protest Picketing. World history is full of events involving a physical or virtual "picket line," as defined in these more-important ways.
There probably ought to be another page describing the various military meanings, along with a disambiguation page. This article should be retitled "Picket line (equine)" or something to that effect, while the other should, perhaps, be titled "Picket line (military)."
There probably ought to also be an article titled "Picket line (protest)" or words to that effect. ~ Penlite (talk) 11:17, 22 September 2024 (UTC)
