Pronunciation
[edit]While the IPA [ˈpjaddʒo ˈaːpe] is correct, the "pronunciation respelling" AH-pay is not; it would be correct if the prounciation were ['aːpeɪ]. Now, the WP:Pronunciation respelling key page doesn't have the exact equivalent for the IPA symbol /e/, but the closest thing would be AH-pe (similar to the English IPA [aːpɛ], and sounding also like "ah-peh"). --Arny (talk) 13:57, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
Poetry
[edit]It's probably accidental, but the last line of the introduction - "it's in continuous production since its 1948 introduction / and offered in numerous body configurations / serving a range of utilitarian functions" - would work as a song lyric. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 12:31, 9 April 2023 (UTC)
'for two people'
[edit]If the article is going to mention that the original design was for two people, is it worth mentioning that in Italy (where most Apes are probably found), most of the 50cc models are registered as single-person vehicles and thus not legally allowed to carry a passenger?80.41.0.43 (talk) 22:35, 17 October 2025 (UTC)
