Ethanlu121, I initially had the Pho1 family description on this page, but as you can see there are several families that function as phosphate permeases. Thus, I have chosen to begin making separate pages for each of the individual families. Grahm Gessner (talk) 17:27, 14 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

There's a lot missing from this article. There's only a few sentences and they don't really explain how this protein functions. One thing that distracted me on this page is all the link to other pages of the families of transporters. There's only one reference at the bottom of the page and its about ion transporters.
