Essay-like tagging

[edit]

This article was flagged with {{essay-like}} by Slashme. Having seen many essays masquerading as articles, I don't think that was a truly close fit for that tag, but, nevertheless, I do think the article was improved because of the tagging. That is, the chief contributor, Eagledj made a series of edits to make the article's language more neutral – which it did need (I think {{peacock}} would have been closer to the mark originally). Anyway, I've made a few more in that vein. Accordingly, the issue having been addressed, I propose to remove this tag after a short period of time, say 48 hours, unless anyone comes forward with a specific reason not to – in which case the issue can be discussed further.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 21:21, 21 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Agree, removed tag before reading this Atlantic306 (talk) 01:47, 22 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I was a bit unsure about which tag to use, and I agree that peacock might have been closer to the mark. The article is in a much better state now; well done! --Slashme (talk) 06:53, 22 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
