Most admins will move a page's history to userspace if an editor wants to incubate an article. Try asking the admin who closed the AfD. czar ♔ 22:50, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

No reason to take it personally. It was at the end of its deletion discussion, and consensus was to delete. (There's a link above.) It was listed for a week, its not like someone was hasty or something. Things were handled exactly as they should have been. I'm not sure what warrants a sarcastic "Classy" comment here.
