Phallcloric

[edit]

Is "phallcloric" a real word? The identical phrase occurs here and at Phallus, Tyrnavos and Carnival, in mirrors of Wikipedia, and a few other places that don't really count for various reasons. That's all. I think somebody combined "phallus" and "folkloric" to make a Wikipedia:Neologism, a guideline that prohibits doing that. Art LaPella (talk) 21:22, 8 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I also find no evidence that the word exists outside WP — every instance I've found is taken directly from WP. I like your hypothesis about its formation, but it's also possible that "phallophoric" was misconstrued. Cynwolfe (talk) 21:31, 16 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
