Spelling of name

[edit]

I recently moved the page from Eurypgimorphae to Eurypygimorphae. The spelling with "pg" is much more common on Google, but even so, i believe it is a typo. "eury + pygi" seems to mean "wide-rumped" or "wide-tailed" in Greek, but "eurypgi" is surely not a word. See wikt:eury- and wikt:pygo-. —Soap— 17:14, 18 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

Eurypygimorphae → Phaethontimorphae – The clade treated by this article is explicitly named and phylogenetically defined as Phaethontimorphae in Sangster et al. (2022), and that name is used by major recent phylogenomic studies including Jarvis et al. (2014) and Stiller et al. (2024). コロネン (talk) 08:19, 11 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
