Did you know nomination

[edit]

  • ... that Archbishop Peter went missing in battle near Gaza?
  • Source: "...routed by the Egyptians outside Gaza on 18 October 1244, and the archbishop of Tyre and the bishop of Lydda were among those missing, presumed dead, in the battle." (Hamilton 1980, p. 264.)

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems
Hook: Hook has been verified by provided inline citation
    QPQ: Done.

Overall: All good, my only suggestion is the hook (though fine) has the air of a bait-and-switch. Of course "…missing in battle near Gaza in 1244?" would, though more accurate, be less likely to get people clicking though to the article!
