Criticism section

[edit]

I hope that my addition of a Criticism section to this article doesn't violate NPOV, but I do think criticism pages are important to Wiki to represent oppinions from all sides.

P.S. I don't hate Travers. Creator22 23:58, 27 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I took the liberty of deleting the Expansion mark on the talk page. (Creator22 15:12, 30 August 2006 (UTC))Reply

Random reviews

[edit]

What is the point of including a random sampling of his four-star reviews? He surely had many more than these, and you don't learn anything about Travers by just mentioning these. Qaqaq 21:29, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Personal info

[edit]

Is there any pertinent info. about his personal life? Date and place of birth? Education? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Machine Man (talkcontribs) 06:21, 19 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Bio

[edit]

The book

Story behind The Exorcist / Peter Travers and Stephanie Reiff. New York : Crown Publishers, [1974]

is presumably by him, but i've found nothing that says they are the same guy. (A few libraries hold it, but certainly comparing photos of him from different periods is WP:OR.) There's also a PT editing some Reader's Digest pubs a couple years later. Born c. 1950? Seems quite private about his background, from what my searches have turned up.

Best Film of the '90s

[edit]

We all know that Blue Velvet is Peter's choice for the best film of the '80s. So what's his pick for the best film of the '90s? I'm assuming Pulp Fiction, but I'm not certain.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.44.227.191 (talkcontribs) 21:50, 22 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rankings, 2nd table

[edit]

What the hell does that table even mean? Kooosh (talk) 12:08, 3 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Very much unfinished

[edit]

This article is in a pretty poor state. Almost nothing on the guy himself, mostly just a list of the ratings he's given various films. Even a birth date would be an improvement... Flipping Mackerel (talk) 22:36, 25 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
