If there is a much more important Peter Gay at Yale, please tell us exactly how much more important. Is he very, very much more important or just very much more important? Possibly, he is merely more important. Is there some objective scale of value by which we can measure this importance? Training in psychoanalysis

Judaism-related?

Hello - I would be grateful if someone could clarify this article's categorization. For all Peter Gay is Jewish, does that suffice for this article (and by extension his person and work) to be considered Judaism-related? I am extremely surprised to see it put this way. My observation is that "there ain't no stoppin' us" proliferators of categories ethnic (Category: Jewish..., Irish-American...), regional (Category: People from...), scholastic(?) The Enlightenment revised

Here Peter Gay#Books we list a 1995 revised edition of volume 1. Age of Enlightenment#Further reading also lists a 1995 revised ed. of volume 2. Perhaps it was a second edition of all three volumes at once, a reissue of the trilogy.

Re: the article about Peter Gay -

1. The "Early life and education" section has a "needs more citations" flag. I'm wondering if that was entered a while ago; the section - which isn't all that long - now has 8 citations (though some of the sources are duplicated). At this point, could/should the flag be taken off?

2. Some of the books listed in the "Works" section have Wikipedia links to articles about the books' subject matter. Someone reading the article might think that there are separate Wikipedia articles about these books by Gay, which, with two exceptions, there are not.
