Request to update Facilities section (COI disclosure)

[edit]

Hello,

I work for the organisation that operates Perth Leisure Pool. In line with Wikipedia’s conflict‑of‑interest guidance, I’m requesting changes here rather than editing the article directly. The Facilities section contains outdated information. Proposed updated wording and citations from the official website are provided below, and I would be grateful if an editor could review and apply the changes. Please let me know if any additional sources or clarification are required.

Proposed updated Facilities section Perth Leisure Pool contains a range of indoor aquatic and leisure amenities designed for families and swimmers of all ages. The complex includes a leisure pool equipped with two flumes and several interactive water features, such as bubble beds, water cannons and a wild water channel. A separate 5‑lane, 25‑metre training pool provides space for lane swimming.

Facilities for younger visitors include a children’s teaching pool with a poolside slide, as well as the Children’s Lagoon and Monkey Jungle, a shallow interactive splash area designed for children under eight. The venue also features a fully equipped gym and health suite with a sauna and steam room. Swimming lessons for all ages and abilities are offered as part of the venue’s regular programming.

The venue also runs a programme of children’s holiday activities during the Easter, Summer and October school breaks. These activities include a range of water‑based sessions designed for pre‑school children through to teenagers. Offerings typically include intensive crash‑course swimming lessons, week‑long camps, and drop‑in aqua fun sessions.
