• Hi The Twists and Turns, what do you mean by too long? The hook is about 150 characters, whereas the limit is 200 (WP:DYK200).

@Chris Woodrich: You're right, it is about 150 characters but I was just saying that they were a little too many words in the hook and that maybe it could be shortened down a bit. • Since the reviewer evaluated only ALT3, I am adding a tick for ALT0 (my favourite, especially for a quirky slot) and ALT2 for the benefit of passing promoters. ALT1 says "slept", but the source says only that the archivist went on a hunger strike with an overnight stay atop the Perth County Courthouse roof; no mention of sleeping.
