This article lacks an explanation of where in the world Persil Power was sold. Was it in the UK only? Morven 20:05, 19 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Persil Power was also sold in the Netherlands under Omo Power. According to my recollection Omo Power replaced the original Omo in the Netherlands and was not sold as an add-on. I believe the same is implied for the UK Persil version in the book "Brand Failures" by Matt Haig.
Mait Haig writes: "When Unilever's star brand Persil announced the launch of a powerful new formula, aptly called Persil Power, many consumers got excited by the prodect's apparent ability to fight any stain." (Brand Failures, page 44)
The phrase new formula, as opposed to new product, suggests to me it wasn't an add-on. That would match the situation on the Dutch market. 67.167.202.253 02:05, 30 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
