I have moved this article. Thinking about making this page focused on periodontal abscess. Gingival abscess can also be discussed here. We already have a separate article for Perio-endo lesion. My understanding of the latter term is that it is not necessarily an abscess (i.e. a localized collection of pus), but can be chronic inflammatory tissue. I expanded periodontitis to the point where it discusses pericoronal abscesses enough to point a redirect there.

I would like a parent page called "Dental abscess" or "dentoalveolar abscess". Currently we have periapical abscess ( a stub) and tooth abscess. Lesion (talk) 18:04, 15 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
