@ilfy6 You objected to my changing "Early period of ancient Rome" to "ancient Rome" because you felt that wasn't specific enough. But perduellio was still a thing in the 1st century BC. We're talking Late Republic, closer to the fall of the Empire than the founding of the city. If you're going to pick that particular nit, you need to do better than "early period."
