The Woman Who Could Smell Parkinson's

This is also reprinted in a National Geographic publication about how the mind works. It's probably got pretty much the same material as the BBC documentary that's mentioned, but here it is in print form. There's a story about a small test done where she correctly identified Parkinson's & matched 12 pieces of T-shirt & how she and Barran figured out it was from the sebum, which few had thought to look at before. The NYT article says she has Hyperosmia. It seems she wasn't sensing Parkinson's exactly, but that the brain (or maybe something else in the body) was dying. But I digress; I think that would be a useful reference for people. My shortcomings as a Weditor ... not sure how to work it into the article. Thinkadoodle (talk) 17:33, 15 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
