Grainy black and white versus full greytones

The grainy black and white is much poorer quality versus full grey tone image. --Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) (talk) 08:49, 23 May 2010 (UTC)

I find that they're both of similar quality in terms of identifying him, but the one which was in the article since almost a year ago depicts him with his camera etc., and seems much more in situ.   I followed the link from Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Richard Arthur Norton (1958- )/Family History to see what the fuss was all about. And for once I agree with Colonel Warden: the photo of Byron with the camera is much more interesting, and better illustrates the article. Yilloslime ^T_C 01:46, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
