Relation ship with Apple?

[edit]

I just read an article in the Romanian press that they will work now with Apple, and perhaps Apple will make a move from Foxconn to Pegatron. Any sources on this? --79.114.3.173 (talk) 21:45, 30 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

There is a article from BBC news and a documentary in relation to apple talking about working conditions at Pegatron, perhaps this should be included? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-30532463

I saw that BBC docu last night. Working conditions seem to be very poor, and I was reminded of what the history books tell us about Russia before the revolution. But at least their wages were paid, it seemed. It is all very well to shoot at apple (I do not own a single apple product) but the shareholders of Foxconn and Pegatron are just as guilty as those who order and buy the products. Both were founded in Taiwan, still have HQ there and are listed on stock exchanges. I don't think the BBC mentioned that they are publicly listed companies and who the shareholders might be. Those who have a savings scheme for their old age, they probably all have shares in these companies and an iPhone..... 58.174.224.15 (talk) 00:22, 3 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
