[edit]I just uploaded an image of the well into which Consort Zhen was allegedly thrown by Cixi. Could somebody please take the time to include it in the article? http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Consort_Zhen_Well.jpg

How is a Manchu Noble Woman's hair style Done?
[edit]How is a Manchu Noble Woman's hair style Done? I would like to know as many of the Manchu Cultures and Customs are becoming extinct. Obsessions28 (talk) 03:02, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Picture
[edit]Why is there no picture of this lady ?
"Consort Zhen liked photography, and she invited foreigners into the Forbidden City to teach her about photography. This explains the large number of extant photographs of Consort Zhen" 159.196.212.204 (talk) 00:42, 1 May 2025 (UTC)
Who is Lady Tatara?
[edit]The fourth paragraphs begins with the sentence:
> On 26 February 1889, Lady Tatara entered the Forbidden City and was granted the title "Concubine Zhen".
However, neither "Lady Tatara" nor "Concubine Zhen" had been mentioned at all in the article before this point. It took me a while to realize that these were referring to the subject of the article. Can someone who knows a little more about how these names should be used include them in the opening sentence (or just clarify it in the sentence I quoted)? —Megiddo1013 06:14, 14 December 2025 (UTC)
