Peals -> Peal

The result of the debate was Moved. Peal (to be deleted) deleted also. (Sorry it took so long to close, but it does seem obvious to me, also.) Arthur Rubin | (talk) 18:51, 27 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

This article should be named Peal as stated in Wikipedia:Naming conventions#Prefer singular nouns.

The existing redirect page Peal needs to be deleted, as does my unsuccessful attempt Peal (to be deleted), so that Peals can be renamed to Peal. Sorry to have started this the wrong way. Oosoom Talk to me 13:40, 18 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Jargon

[edit]

This article is somewhat self-referential in that it explains a bit of bellringing jargon (peal) with further bits of bellringing jargon.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.199.62.125 (talk) 16:37, 6 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Framework for Method Ringing

[edit]

In 2019 the Central Council for Church Bell Ringers withdrew its Decisions on methods and peal ringing and replaced it with the Framework for Method Ringing [1]. This page refers extensively to the old Decisions and needs rewriting to reflect the current guidance given by the Framework for Method Ringing. GACJ (talk) 12:36, 15 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
