Platform(s) listed may be inaccurate

[edit]

In the official developer post announcing payday 3 and the FAQ associated, they say that payday 3 will be for xbox, playstation, and PC. Nowhere is the Nintendo Switch listed.

== Overkill is not developing Payday 4

https://www.ign.com/articles/exclusive-starbreeze-ceo-offers-payday-3-update-as-new-uk-studio-announced https://www.paydaythegame.com/payday3/

Under corrections, "Starbreeze is also developing the game completely in-house without developer Overkill." The store pages also do not list Overkill as a developer but rather Starbreeze Studios themselves. And on the website for the game at the bottom there is no logo for Overkill, just Starbreeze and Deep Silver (their publisher). 2600:1700:3440:29CF:D014:8B8F:ABDB:7416 (talk) 17:17, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think you're on to something with the IGN quote. Not so much with who is listed as developer and which logo is used, because officially - ignoring who are the majority shareholders - Overkill is a subsidiary of parent Starbreeze, which means that if Overkill developed something, then so did Starbreeze, and they can use either name or logo. --2001:1C06:19CA:D600:59C2:DFC:A8C5:B875 (talk) 19:38, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

It is not possible to link specific articles from Starbreeze’s corporate website, when you try to do it via a citation it will only come up as the list of articles Ewanb0100 (talk) 10:09, 16 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
