WorldCat gives no co-author. I doubt he wrote in Dutch, presumably German. --P64 (talk) 21:00, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- Among other things I replaced the Dutch with the original German edition. Here it is at the German national library: Wir lizitieren .... I replicated some of the other fixes at nl:Paul Stern, but did not foist the German original on them :-)
- At last I noticed that some of the LCCat records belong to at least one other Paul Stern, and the catalogue point of entry has no value (after my expansion of our list of Works; until LC identifies Stern adequately). So I replaced that External link
- Paul Stern at the Library of Congress, with 5 library catalogue records (including as 'Stern, Paul, 1892-' on "Previous" page of browse report)
- (which may be useful some day) with the corresponding External link template for the German national library --where all 11 records do fit this Paul Stern; the top page data are more valuable too.
- Literature by and about Paul Stern in the German National Library catalogue
Obituary
[edit]I found an obituary in the June 1948 edition of the Contract Bridge Journal. It doesn't really add much that is new, but it gives one a good feel for the man. JH (talk page) 19:08, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
