Boost Mobile

Infobox Portrait

[edit]

I propose a more recent photo be used for his infobox to better represent Keating as he currently exists. I suggest one of these from 2017, or if we don't like those, maybe this one from 2007.

I support the use of one of the images from 2017. I like 02 better as it is slightly less pixelated. It is indeed a great idea to change the main image in the infobox as Keating has largely moved on from politics, so the image should reflect what he currently does which is public speaking and well represented here in these images presented. The 2007 one looks much less flattering by showing his full body and the lighting makes him look almost ghastly. Qwerty123M (talk) 02:47, 21 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
I personally like the 2007 one more and thought it was more flattering (which is mainly why I included it) but I think recency should be prioritised. I'll take your support as enough of a consensus to change the image. :) Lord Beesus (talk) 06:17, 23 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
By convention the official portrait should be kept, and it is also objectively better than any of the images proposed here. All other prime ministerial pages (such as Whitlam, Fraser, Hawke, Rudd, Gillard, Turnbull, Morrison and Albanese) have official portraits, which must be prioritized and utilized over pictures taken in informal contexts Szekere07 (talk) 11:25, 23 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
Official portraits are generally the best quality images and it is usually best to use them when they are available. TarnishedPathtalk 13:17, 23 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

To add to article

[edit]

The current version of this article states that Katherine Keating had a relationship with Ghislaine Maxwell, but recently released emails show that Katherine Keating communicated directly and extensively with Jeffrey Epstein himself. Shouldn't we add that fact to this article? This source includes many of these emails: https://kaitjustice.substack.com/p/katherine-keatings-lawyers-threatened

These documents show that Katherine Keating had a sustained, documented relationship with Jeffrey Epstein from at least June 2011 through February 2013, well after his 2008 conviction. The documents prove that this relationship involved regular email communication, scheduled meetings, and her physical presence at gatherings in Epstein's home. The documents prove that Epstein was actively interested in aspects of Katherine Keating's media career, demanded status reports, and was trying to connect her with people like Bill Gates. The documents prove that she wrote to him in language that reflected deference, gratitude, and emotional vulnerability.

Given that she is the daughter of the subject of the article, I don't know that all of that detail is really relevant - and not sure if Substack is regarded as a reliable source anyway. If there's a media source that can be used for a brief update, maybe... Laterthanyouthink (talk) 03:48, 9 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
