During WW2, some British researchers put forward patulin as a treatment for the common cold (http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,791191,00.html?iid=chix-sphere). Subsequent research indicated that such treatment was ineffective (http://ije.oxfordjournals.org/cgi/content/full/33/2/243)Bustter 16:27, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Brown colour

[edit]

It is not only a white powder. In apples it looks brown. When an apple falls down and is left for a while Patulin will create. Very dangerous.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 49.177.2.232 (talk) 07:00, 11 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
