What I think should be changed (include citations): Removal of the notability and additional citations required template box
Why it should be changed: As per notability guidelines for Academics[1], Dr. Patrick Gullane meets Criteria #5: The person has held a named chair appointment or "Distinguished Professor" appointment at a major institution of higher education and research (or an equivalent position in countries where named chairs are uncommon) - as the Wharton Chair for Head & Neck Surgery[2] which is a cross-appointment between the University of Toronto and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre
Since this person is a recipient of several highly notable awards, I think they fulfil WP:GNG and thus the notability tag has been removed. If someone disagrees, they can take this article to WP:AfD. I have not removed the additional citations needed banner because most of the prose is not cited: as this is a WP:BLP, this needs additional inline citations.
