There's no rule that the current dab page has to be moved too. The implication of the original request was that the dab page would be deleted as unnecessary, with the football player and possibly coach linked from a hatnote. But moving the dab page to a new title doesn't really hurt anything, as long as the baseball player is moved. Station1 (talk) 05:21, 6 August 2023 (UTC)

Thanks, Station1. Yes, my intended request (I'm the requestor) is that the baseball player be viewed when someone types in the name. With one (possibly two) hatnotes to the football player (and possibly coach - who may well not even be notable.--2603:7000:2101:AA00:2495:2EC:CC85:878B (talk) 01:54, 8 August 2023 (UTC)
