- I understand that Buttram was "discovered" during the Chicago World's Fair Century of Progress when a WLS reporter was interviewing people at the fair. When Buttram was chosen to interview, his distinctive voice wowed the people at WLS who decided to give him a job. -Judy, Source: THE WLS NATIONAL BARN DANCE (wlshistory.com) 66.188.59.227 (talk) 01:34, 27 September 2024 (UTC)
His genealogical history.
[edit]I added years of his parent and his siblings names and dates of birth and death and it was removed. There are many pages with same kind of information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Miloradovan (talk • contribs) 16:37, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
- Please read this page for an explanation of why the material was removed, and this one for an explanation of why other articles having similar material is not relevant. Thanks, BMK (talk) 19:09, 24 January 2015 (UTC)
Photo of Pat Buttram?
[edit]Does this photo depict Pat Buttram? I think it might, but there are a number of people in the advertisement from which it is cropped, and they aren't individually labeled. Thanks, Calliopejen1 (talk) 16:53, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
- No, it's not Buttram. Neither is the photo "free", since you extracted it from a copyrighted book. I've nominated it for deletion at Commons and removed it from this page, since non-free images cannot be used except in articles with the proper rationale. BMK (talk) 18:53, 23 August 2015 (UTC)
