Is it really the same as Real-User Monitoring? Real-User Monitoring can be implemented within a web browser without sniffing. Isn't passive monitoring really a kind of sniffing? If so, real-user monitoring can be implemented as passive monitoring or as active monitoring (i.e., within the end-user's browser).
