partial groupoid vs partial magma

[edit]

Before anyone moves this to "partial magma": there are maybe two books that call it that. Partial groupoid is the most common of the synonyms in Google Books (including the other ones listed in the article right now). JMP EAX (talk) 09:29, 26 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Table of group-like structures

[edit]

The other pages on group-like structures (group (mathematics), semigroup, monoid, groupoid, magma (algebra)) all have the following table:

Group-like structures
Total Associative Identity Divisible
Partial magma UnneededUnneededUnneededUnneeded
Semigroupoid UnneededRequiredUnneededUnneeded
Small category UnneededRequiredRequiredUnneeded
Groupoid UnneededRequiredRequiredRequired
Magma RequiredUnneededUnneededUnneeded
Quasigroup RequiredUnneededUnneededRequired
Unital magma RequiredUnneededRequiredUnneeded
Loop RequiredUnneededRequiredRequired
Semigroup RequiredRequiredUnneededUnneeded
Associative quasigroup RequiredRequiredUnneededRequired
Monoid RequiredRequiredRequiredUnneeded
Group RequiredRequiredRequiredRequired

How can we add "partial groupoid" (or maybe "partial magma") to this table?

By adding a new row at Template:Group-like structures; done. Thatsme314 (talk) 16:44, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Partial semigroup vs semigroupoid

[edit]

Not every partial semigroup is a semigroupoid 2A0D:6FC2:5101:1B00:A53B:DD0E:2F2D:D055 (talk) 11:09, 26 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
