• Parry Sound → Parry Sound (disambiguation) — Per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC

I am requesting this move because while there are several topics regarding Parry Sound, the article on the town is the primary topic, while the rest are minor facets or subtopics at best. The district, the other major use, is already at its appropriate primary topic title (Parry Sound District), and the unorganized areas are not very notable by nature. This leaves two electoral districts, which I hardly feel contend for primary topic against a town that would have history, culture, and general significance to the every-day public. - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ ^τ _¢ 18:56, 15 April 2011 (UTC)

• Hmmm, I think you overlooked the fact that Parry Sound first and foremost refers to the actual sound (bay) called Parry. The article is formatted as a disambig, but it really should be about the sound. -- P 1 9 9 • TALK 19:22, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

  Very true, but isn't the town the result of the history that has occurred within the sound? Anything we could write about the sound would better be put to use making the Parry Sound article more comprehensive, in my opinion. - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ ^τ _¢ 00:27, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

• Could we apply deadline to this, and visit the discussion again down the road when an article is made on the sound? It would still come down to whether the body of water is more significant than the town, because both are just "Parry Sound"; the bay could still be Parry Sound (Ontario). - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ ^τ _¢ 16:11, 19 April 2011 (UTC)

• There are already a few links to Parry Sound in the "body of water" context. So if the town is moved to this title, it would create confusion. I'll try to add significant info the the sound article over the next few days.

  BTW, WP:PRIMARYTOPIC is a guideline, it doesn't need strict application. IMHO, it should only apply to overwhelmingly clear primary topics. But in this case, I am not committed to any position; I just wanted to provide you with more food for thought. -- P 1 9 9 • TALK 17:53, 19 April 2011 (UTC)
