I find it really problematic that there seems to be no mention of the negative aspects of the exhibition. The article seems to portray it in a very positive light, which I don't believe is correct at all. It should be mentioned that this exposition served the purpose or promoting the racist French imperial project within the French public and was meant to stir up support for the continuation and expansion of French colonialism, particularly among young people. There should also be mention of the controversy surrounding the poor treatment of some of the exposition's colonial workers. Eeafricanciv (talk) 22:32, 14 November 2014 (UTC)Reply
