There is a large section in the 1915 USDA report about this family. However, looking at more modern sources, a large fraction of that text is about genera that are now placed in other families of mites. So the section about this family in that report was not used, just the bit about the common name which is in a different family's section. GRBerry 04:13, 24 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
