PARANG is also a tradition on Carriacou, part of the trini®®® island state of Grenada. There is very minimal history in this article if any substancial at all. To me it sounds like a Venezuelean genre simply created in Trinidad & Tobago, which continues to be enjoyed in that country and thus deratives and fusions of it were later created. However, it appears similar to how salsa music was alledgely birthed in the US but is a Cuban genre. We just need more information on this. Savvyjack23 (talk) 04:25, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply
