I find this a quite hard company to really grasp its history from. I think the company still exists as a legal entity within DZS: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1101680/000110168018000030/exhibit101-amendedandresta.htm

But the brand name was retired around 2005 when the company was taken over by Zhone Technologies. I'm also unsure what is the best name for the company, since both Paradyne Networks, Inc. and Paradyne Corporation exists, where the latter is a subsidiary of the former.
