What does "female-f." mean?

What does "female-f." mean? It's used four times in the article and there's no explanation. There's a similar usage at Protographium philolaus, Battus belus and a few others, but it's not clear enough. SchreiberBike | ⌨ 01:41, 13 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

I have no idea what "female-f." is supposed to mean. I've change the uses to just "female". Nosferattus (talk) 19:16, 11 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
