Should Matt L'Amour, Rick Mythiasin, and David Peacock be listed as Former Touring Members?

[edit]

And as a result, marked with a yellow line in the timeline?

I say this because these 3 individuals didn't record in the studio officially, and were only in the band for brief periods of time. Similar to how Charlie and Zak are considered Touring Members, maybe these 3 should be as well? (I excluded Donny Hart and Tommy Bradford because those 2 were founding members of the band). Infobox image replaced

Pantera 1987-2003 lineup, currently available on commons

The policy on the criteria for non-free content states: Non-free content is used only where no free equivalent is available, or could be created, that would serve the same encyclopedic purpose. The article uses a non-free promotional photo (at the time of writing this); however, this can be replaced by an image on Commons (pictured) which is suitable for the article. Merger images have been done before on articles, particularly Iron Maiden. As of writing this, I have boldly changed it myself per WP:NFC and the above. Dom/Hollow

[edit]

I've been working on Hollow's article, and am thinking of making a section for Dom/Hollow. It's one of Pantera's most played songs live and is included on the live album Official Live: 101 Proof, so I think it's notable enough, but am conflicted on adding a section to Domination's article. I doubt it has enough sources for an article of its own. CleoCat16 (talk) 00:12, 12 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

I think a section, on both pages, would be fine. It really is how the band has played the songs for a number of years. You're correct that it doesn't have enough sources for its own article, but mentions/sections on both pages would suffice. Xanarki (talk) 02:40, 12 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
I made a subsection for it on "Hollow", while adding a main article template that links to "Domination. I'll do the same on "Domination" soon, but obviously swap the main article link. Thanks! CleoCat16 (talk) 03:28, 12 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

Genre in infobox

[edit]

The band did play heavy metal back in the early days of the band, even if they're not playing it now. I think it should be listed in the infobox. David O. Johnson (talk) 19:29, 25 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Not really, they were a glam metal band, as stated multiple times in the text and also in the infobox R. Bardghji (talk) 21:05, 25 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
