Official name of the bridge

Hi, I understand that the Panhandle Bridge is now officially called the "Monongahela River Bridge". Yes, I recognize that its a boring name for a bridge, but its what the state calls it and so we should too. Here are some external references supporting my position. If there are no major objections, I'm planning on moving this page to Monongahela River Bridge with a redirect from Panhandle Bridge to the new page. ClarkBHM 02:57, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

Hi. You make a good point, but since the bridge is more commonly known as the Panhandle Bridge, I think perhaps it would be less confusing to leave it as is. Statue of Liberty is an example of this. A bridge example is Evergreen Point Floating Bridge. In both of these cases the official name is given at the beginning of the article. Robshill 04:23, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
