redundency

[edit]

There's a duplication of a paragraph, that is found both in the introduction and a section called secretions. Where is the right place for that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mifam (talkcontribs) 09:24, 16 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

The image of the Paneth cell

Paneth cells

appears to be a copyright violation. The same image appears in the Encyclopaedia Britannica website under Paneth cells http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/441200/Paneths-cell#tab=active~checked%2Citems~checked&title=Paneth%E2%80%99s%20cell%20--%20Britannica%20Online%20Encyclopedia, yet the image data here suggests it is the creator's own photo. However, the creator's talk page is dotted with small warnings about appropriate sourcing of images, use of tags etc. Can an admin look into this please?

The image at EB is credited to jpogi and per this, EB "claims no compilation copyright in images or materials that are subject to the GNU Free Documentation License or similar licenses" and "Photographs and illustrations are copyrighted by their respective owners, as noted in the credits." Presuming the two jpogi's are the same, jpogi has released the photo under GFDL. The wiki image has appropriate metadata and is much higher resolution than the EB image. I don't see a problem here. May the "medical citations needed" box be removed?

[edit]

I believe I have added enough research and medical sources. Is it OK to remove? Irena.Buskova (talk) 11:44, 19 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
