Hi, please let me know what the additional citations my page requires? I was also hoping I could add "Grammy Nominated songwriter to my credits, as this year, Pink Pantheress was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album and I am now deemed Grammy Nominated. The song I was involved with is; Nice To Know You, from "Fancy That" album. (my name on the songwriting credits). Please advise, thanks! Pam Sheyne (talk) 16:41, 11 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Being Grammy nominated is not a part of the criteria at WP:GNG and credits confer zero notability, we need in-depth coverage of you in significant detail, in reliable, independent sources. Theroadislong (talk) 19:52, 11 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
@JSFarman hey! Been a while. Mind taking a look at this one? A quick Google search indicates there might be usable sources like American Songwriter and there might be older sources available on ProQuest or Newspapers.com. S0091 (talk) 19:54, 19 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hello @ S0091 (talk)!! The promotional tone of the draft is distracting from notability, I think. I'll do a search; even though songwriters don't generally get a lot of coverage, there's gotta be more -- she has written huge hits. JSFarman (talk) 20:16, 19 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
@JSFarman yeah, the promo is horrible. When it was still an article this version from back in 2017 wasn't that bad from a writing perspective (sources still poor) but then a PR editor got a hold of it and it went down hill from there so here we are. S0091 (talk) 20:30, 19 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
@JSFarman there's WP:COMPOSER and also WP:BASIC that could apply. I also noticed there's Category:Songs written by Pam Sheyne (created by an experienced editor). If you are seeing sources that have enough independent content there's at least an argument for notability, I say go for it. The worse that can happen is it ends up at AfD but that will allow for broader input from the community. S0091 (talk) 20:40, 20 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
I did what I could - a lot of condensing and a few refs added. I will leave a message on Pam Sheyne's talk page; she should be able to add the necessary references to demonstrate notability under WP:COMPOSER. JSFarman (talk) 18:32, 22 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
