Spelling
[edit]As an Englishman, I found it odd that this was spelt the British way, "theatre" instead of "theater", the North American way. Of course, if that is how it is so titled, then that is how it must be called, but being a US article, I would expect that in its plain form (i.e. not as part of its title, or a link, reference etc) it should be spelt "theater". This may seem unnecessarily inconsistent, but I think actually points up the "unusual" spelling, and it would be interesting to know why it was spelt this way when so named (e.g. to match the names of others worldwide?)
There were two instances of plain "theater", one in the lead and one in the infobox, and for now I have changed them to "theatre" to match all the other plain instances. I'm not fussed myelf, but I think it should be made clear if this is written in British English or American English, and if the former, why? WP:ENGVAR would generally say an article with strong geographic ties should be written in the language/spelling variant of that area.

- The key here is that even us Yanks use the traditional English spelling of theatre when it's a performing arts venue... the only time it ends up being changed to theater is when it's a movie house (cinema) rather than a venue for live theatre. Therefore, the spelling in the article name and within the article itself should be changed to Theatre. MaxVolume (talk) 07:10, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
I stand corrected (I think). It seems that with the name change, BEST BUY would like it spelled Theater. That hasn't been confirmed, but an online article cited here as a source uses the spelling Theater, as does a computer rendering of what the new marquee should look like. Surely this will be simple to check with a Google search or a visit to the venue's website. MaxVolume (talk) 07:17, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Future plans
[edit]So apparently new management took over the space and announced a new name (the RAD Theater) just before the pandemic hit and delayed things.
