Authorities that recognize the split include the latest versions from the African Bird Club; Handbook of the Birds of the World, Birdlife; the Commission internationale pour les noms français des oiseaux; Clements; Howard and Moore; the IOC; Sibley and Monroe (all those according to avibase); the IUCN; Zimmerman, Turner and Pearson's field guide for Kenya; and Ferguson-Lees and Christie's Raptors of the World. I don't know who keeps them lumped. The names proposed are the IOC's names, the standard for WP:Bird. JerryFriedman (Talk) 04:14, 31 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
