Proposed merge of Calamian treeshrew into Palawan treeshrew
[edit]Both IUCN and ASM's MDD list this as a synonym or subspecies of T. palawanensis. UtherSRG (talk) 23:42, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
- UtherSRG, it does seem their distinction is in question. This 2011 paper found a very recent molecular divergence between the two compared to other related species, while this 2013 paper found that there was possibly more diversity within T. palawanensis than between T. palawanensis and T. moellendorffi.
