Why must del ?
[edit]I don’t have an account, but after seeing this behaviour, I started searching for the information myself from different sources. I realized that the information was not fake or necessarily wrong.
Instead of immediately deleting or removing information, why not try to improve it? If something is incomplete or needs verification, you can ask the community to research it further, provide reliable sources, and correct or expand the information.
Wikipedia is built by volunteers, so the goal should be to improve informationnot simply remove it because it does not meet the current version or because someone considers it questionable.
Sometimes the behaviour and decisions of Wikipedia volunteers can feel unnecessarily harsh and discouraging, especially for people who are genuinely trying to contribute useful information. A better approach would be to explain the problem, request sources, and give contributors an opportunity to fix the article. Saddletowne (talk) 12:37, 20 September 2026 (UTC)
