History section needed

Paddling is one of the few types of water vessel locomotion that goes back to antiquity, and there should be at least a brief section here about it. Paddled or oared vessels were in use for millennia before anything mentioned in this article. Mathglot (talk) 03:07, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
