Son or brother of Vologases I?

[edit]

A few sources, mostly decades old (back when studies in Parthian history weren't as well researched as now, a good example of this is scholarship regarding Arsaces I) state that Pacorus II was the (older) brother of Vologases, contrary to sources nowadays (and even some older ones too), which calls him his son instead. The latter seems more likely, considering coins of Pacorus portray him as a rather young man (as stated here as well ) and he did rule till 110 - imho there's no way to he would have lived that long if he was born around the same period as Vologases I. --HistoryofIran (talk) 22:56, 13 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Nvm, seems like there were two different Pacorus' around the same period. Problem solved . --HistoryofIran (talk) 06:58, 29 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
