Wouldn't this be the proper page to include ac stipping and other changes that go on when a frame is moving up or down the OSI stack?

Should be a disambiguation page, maybe?

[edit]

An article named "forwarding" could conceivably be about packet forwarding, mail forwarding, or e-mail forwarding. While I wouldn't expect port forwarding to be at "forwarding", it's enough to have a "see also" here. That's four pages that could be linked to. Should this be a disambiguation page? - furrykef (Talk at me) 05:56, 11 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Done. Kjkolb (in 2006) did a good job renaming this article about packet forwarding from "forwarding" to "packet forwarding". So now forwarding is a disambiguation page, as you suggested. --DavidCary (talk) 14:11, 11 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
