to do

[edit]
  • use ref to say the early-indicator/biomaker is a mutated version of the protein.
  • find source for normal protein sequence (217 AA?) and mutation(s)
  • Which steroid hormone receptor gene(s) is it a coactivator of ? ER-alpha ? ER-beta ?
  • How is it involved in DNA repair ?

Moving page

[edit]

The current page name, GT198, is an outdated gene symbol with a pretty Google scholar hit count compared to the updated symbol (PSMC3IP), so it seems important to rename. The uniprot recommended protein name, "Homologous-pairing protein 2 homolog", seems too long to me, and I can't easily overwrite the gene symbol redirect since it has a non-trivial history (my mistake), so I will try to move the page to the HGNC approved (gene) name: "PSMC3 interacting protein", which seems to also function as a protein name.
