Regarding claims of this missile being hypersonic

[edit]

@StickJockey786 I reverted your recent edits describing the P282 SMASH missile as a hypersonic missile because there is no reliable source that says this. I saw you cited the Militarnyi news article for this, but the thing is, that article likely reported false information, because the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistani military never made any statement giving the details of the missile's speed, or claiming that the missile is hypersonic. The name of the missile also reflects that it is supersonic, not hypersonic, as seen in this article by Dawn. RealKnockout (talk) 02:35, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Can't it be added as a possibility that the missile may be capable of achieving hypersonic flight? StickJockey786 (talk) 17:59, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes, if you can find reliable sources suggesting it's possibly hypersonic, you could add a sentence like "The missile is reportedly capable of reaching hypersonic speeds." RealKnockout (talk) 19:36, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
Ok perfect, Thank you StickJockey786 (talk) 20:42, 27 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
