Consistency in name format

We need to have a consistent format of the name of the protein throughout this article. Currently it is called p14ARF, p14arf, p14^ARF, ARF etc. Can someone more knowledgeable about the common practice in research correct this? Also, we need to fix the capitalization of the title, especially due to a capitalization redirect interfering... WingsEdge (talk) 05:49, 11 November 2014 (UTC)

The title of this page should be "p14ARF", respecting the capitalization. p14 refers to the mass as determined by SDS-PAGE (about 14 kilodaltons), and ARF refers to "Alternate Reading Frame". Also, the "[[G₁/S checkpoint]]" should be a link to the G₁/S checkpoint. I don't know the semantics to make that happen.Niels Olson 15:36, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Same as ARF tumor suppressor?

Is p14arf in this article the same as ARF tumor suppressor? If so, do we need a page merge? Which page's title should be kept? --PFHLai (talk) 23:12, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

I am pretty certain they are the same, I would be inclined to keep this page's name as p16^ARF is the more common name in the literature--Jugglerpete (talk) 14:33, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
