"Career" narrated by the subject?

[edit]

While it's clear that Ellis was not aiming at "promotion" in the business sense when he gave the career information that's quoted here, it does necessarily give an unbalanced view of things. Osian Ellis was about as famous as a harpist could be at that time; surely there must be information about his career that doesn't come from him. We're NOT here to tell his story as he told it, but as reporters told it.

Often, family members or fans will say that all the reporters have missed things. Of course they've missed things, and as far as career achievements are concerned, we are positively committed to missing all the same things the reporters missed. This article is more than ten years old. He has a fine obit. Feel free to take more things from there, and drop what you think nobody picked up. If it helps. Travelling, sorry, I can't help. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 19:16, 2 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
